~~Development Coordinator at Seattle Humane

 Who We Are:

 The position:
 Seattle Humane is seeking an experienced Development Coordinator to join the development team. The coordinator will lead the organization's grant writing and third party fundraising efforts, as well as supporting workplace giving. In addition, they will provide support for the Development Director and Special Events Director, and for select development projects including seasonal fundraising events.

They are a tech-savvy, creative, and self-motivated team player who can manage multiple projects and communicate well both verbally and in writing.

• A bachelor's degree and/or an equivalent experience in similar positions
• Excellent writing skills, including grammar and style clarity.
• Demonstrated ability to write grant proposals, develop project budgets and draft other development correspondence
• Excellent verbal communication and listening skills; Ability to coordinate and facilitate public presentations to small and large groups.
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
• Ability to perform accurate data analysis and communicate data in formats that are easy to read and understand.
• Ability to maintain highly accurate records and processes via paper and electronic systems.
• Attention to detail and ability to quickly complete tasks on deadline
• Strongly Preferred: Experience using Raiser's Edge and/or Luminate, or other fundraising software
• Strongly Preferred: experience with fundraising events, workplace giving and development support.
• Valid Washington driver's license with good driving record and access to reliable transportation.
