POSITION: Human Resources Manager

The Human Resources Manager will build and supervise the Human Resource team to manage effective and streamlined systems within the department. This person will provide input into the development and administration of robust recruitment, hiring and onboarding plans. The Human Resource Manager will ensure development of accurate written job descriptions with clear job accountabilities, reporting structures and establish and maintain process for updating regularly. This position is involved with coaching supervisors in developing their management skills and provide proactive guidance to supervisors and employees on employee relation issues within their teams and across the organization. This is an engaged, hands-on leadership role supervising the day-to-day HR functions while maintaining good communication and positive working relationships with employees to promote employee satisfaction. 

1. Bachelor's degree in Human Resource Management, Business or related field.
2. Minimum of five years of progressive HR experience, including in a non-profit organization and proven effectiveness in leading professionals in human resources.
3. Minimum of two years of supervisory experience.
4. Professional Human Resources Certification: SPHR, PHR, SHRM-SCP or SHRM-CP
5. Experience with Word, Excel, and database management programs.
