Overlake Medical Center has an outstanding opportunity for an
Individual Giving Officer.
The person in this role will develop and implement a broad range of programs and activities designed to foster long term, meaningful relationships between Overlake Medical Center and its donors and prospective donors. Initiate and implement cultivation and stewardship activities for donors at all levels. Serve as liaison with other groups who raise funds on behalf of Overlake. Work with the major and planned gifts team to identify and qualify potential major and planned giving donors.
With guidance from Director of Philanthropy, develop and implement a master stewardship plan and schedule, incorporating best practice stewardship activities and tactics and including multiple mediums, for key donor populations. Promote and support a consistent cycle of cultivation, acknowledgment and recognition to encourage closer affinity between donors and Overlake.
Develop, plan and grow donor stewardship activities, including the Foundation's Circle of Excellence program.
Plan and implement annual campaigns, including but not limited to employees, physicians and volunteers.
With guidance from Director of Philanthropy, organize and coordinate Grateful Patient program including developing and maintaining systems and engagement opportunities to identify, cultivate and solicit grateful patients with annual, mid-level and major giving potential.

Bachelor's degree is required.
Minimum three years relevant fundraising experience required, preferably in annual giving, donor relations, moves management, small group cultivation and one-on-one relationship building. Knowledge of Eastside community and experience in healthcare fundraising preferred.
Experience with Microsoft Office software and with fund raising database systems required. Experience with

preferred. High degree of initiative with excellent independent follow-through. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to interact effectively and professionally with a variety of people and groups at all levels of the organization and community. Organized, goal-oriented team player, capable of coordinating several projects at once.
